Styling Your Kitchen With The Latest Looks In Tile

The Hard Part

Tile installation falls into the category of "home renovation projects that look really easy; it looks as easy as child's play. However, it takes a true craftsmen to set tile correctly, and is in fact a very difficult part of the process.

If it were as simple as putting together a jigsaw puzzle, then we wouldn't have an entire job title called tile setter, which goes back thousands of years, to Greece and Rome, and there are still entire families that continue the tradition of tile-setting.

The Easy Part

It's fun to pick out tile. Tile is the one floor covering that you can pick up in your hands and heft and get a good feel of. Go straight to a specialized tile store - you will encounter a bounty of wonderful tile that you may never know existed! When you've made your choice, let us install it for you. You won't be disappointed with the results.

We're installing a whole new website!

We love home renovations!  And so it makes sense to refresh our own home on the web.

We'll be launching our new website soon.  A fresher, cleaner look to complement the modern, innovative installation services we've always provided.

We're looking forward to sharing the grand unveiling late Spring 2016!

Things to Consider When Choosing Your New Tile

With spring renovation projects in mind, here are some things to stop and consider at the tile store:

Do you envision a mosaic of tiny tiles? Or a dramatic row of large tiles - a current trend in bathroom design? Larger tiles are not just for larger spaces anymore! They can bring fresh life and have an enlarging effect on a small space like a bathroom.

No matter what type of tile you are looking for, the palette of color options will be extensive. Once you've selected a color, make sure you see several tiles in that color and ask to take one home to look at in your own lighting, next to your own fixtures.

Tiles in particularly humid areas are better suited by glazing, but in other spaces, leaving tiles unglazed can create a more organic feel.

What satisfied clientele are saying about our work:

"I recently had the opportunity to work with Installations Plus, Inc. to update my bathroom. I had a fantastic experience working with Jon Moss and his crew. Timely, responsive, professional and absolutely gorgeous work. I would HIGHLY recommend Installations Plus and have. I would not use any other company for future projects at my home."
