Finished Hearth In Cambridge-D-tile from Netherlands
The DTILE tile-system consists of rounded tiles and function-tiles. This system allows any space, object or surface to be fully tiled. DTILE covers the surfaces in a blanket of tiles, with a single, unbroken grid of tilework.
DTILE can be used in almost any condition - on floors or walls, indoors or outdoors, wet or dry, domestic, public or industrial.
Boston
The Lucas is located in the South End at 136 Shawmut Avenue. The project is a transformation of the former 1874 German Trinity Catholic Church into a unique residential development. Originally designed by Patrick Keely’s Brooklyn office, the project will insert a new eight story building within the existing Roxbury Puddingstone walls and 100’ tall tower. The approach re-imagines a striking steel and glass contemporary design that rises out of the massive stone walls of the former church, while respecting the architectural and tectonic qualities of the original structure. The attached rectory will be rehabilitated for residences with roof decks and contemporary amenities throughout.
The 80,000 SF project will contain 33 residences and 30 parking spaces at the lower basement level. Additional landscape feature
